关于我
I'm a small town kid with a passion for learning and understanding. I love the outdoors, seeing places I've never been, and connecting with people who are completely different than myself.
Canadian designer Bruce Mau has a manifesto:
Forget about good.
Good is a known quantity. Good is what we all agree on. Growth is not necessarily good. Growth is an exploration of unlit recesses that may or may not yield to our research. As long as you stick to good you'll never have real growth.
I strive for growth, understanding and experience. I make mistakes, take risks, and learn. If your life is a bit better after some time with me, I've done my job.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
A while back I spent some time in the UK and had the pleasure of staying with people in each of the countries, rather than in hotels. That experience was so much more amazing and it is why I will forever be a surfer! I'm not particularly active, but I value the experiences I have had with Couchsurfing. If you're new to town or just passing through, my couch is always open if I'm around!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I've played in mud bogs in the forests of Ireland!
Spent a night out in London with people I didn't know.
Traveled all over the US. My country is beautiful.
Bought a plane and train ticket and flew to Europe with hardly any plan...just the order of cities!
Watched Holland v. Spain in the 2010 World Cup final from Museumplein in Amsterdam.
Witnessed the glorious firework show beyond the Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day.

I guess I'm a bit of a handyman. I can usually fix things that are broken. And I have extensive knowledge of the workings of the American government. I play a bit of guitar, though I don't know if I'm a good instructor. I have a really huge bank of knowledge that I don't know what to do with, so you may just have to ask. And I'm always up for learning something new.
