Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing это очень много возможностей. Для меня кауч стал одной из основных вещей в моих путешествиях, потому что это новые знакомства, крутые люди, местные, которые как никто покажут свой город, а также домашний уют, после долгой дороги. По своему опыту с местными ребятами гораздо интереснее осматривать город, чем вписываться в хостел, походить по намеченным достопримечательностям и отправляться дальше. А зачастую бывает, что сама компания оказывается куда интереснее места.
Помимо этого можно вписывать интересных людей к себе, практиковаться в языках, общаться с иностранцами, да и просто с ребятами с других регионов. Нередко от таких людей ты узнаешь много нового и полезного.

Couchsurfing is an interesting acquaintance, cool people and a new experience. It’s much more interesting to explore their place with the locals. Often people are more interesting places.

Из музыки разный рок (особенно старые группы) и классика, но вообще не стеснён рамками жанра и слушаю многое другое.

Из тех что прочитал, наиболее на меня повлияли "Посторонний" - Камю, "Так говорил Заратустра" - Ницше, "Мартин Иден" - Джек Лондон. Нравится философия.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I finished the first sports category in swimming.
2. I drove the hitchhiker more than 44000 kilometers
3. More than 100 industrial tourism objects have been explored, such as special shelters, military bunkers, underground catacombs, mines, abandoned historic buildings, operating military factories, high roofs of unusual buildings, and much more.
4. Stayed at sea on a ship for 6 months.
5. Met and hung out for three days on the Atlantic ocean with a local hippie.
6. We lived in a house for everyone who had another 17 couchsurfers in a one-room apartment, and set a record for the number of people on this host. We went to the mountains together, jumped from the rocks into the sea, cooked food and watched movies. By the way, this was my first couchsurfing experience, it was a great time.
7.I have seen 4 oceans and 3 continents so far.
8. I walked the mountaineering route without belay with a ten-kilogram backpack in rubber boots.
 9. Tried to get into a working bunker for storing nuclear weapons.
10. I crossed Europe twice from Russia to Ireland and back by hitchhiking.
11. I'm getting a degree in philosophy
12. I traveled all over Britain from South Cornwall to the North of Scotland, from Cape to Cape and got Three Peaks Challenge (Climb the highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland)
13. I felt on the road the cold - 33 and in the sea the heat +40.
14. I crossed Europe from the Urals to Ireland by hitchhiking.
15. Spent more than 50 nights in a tent, in one trip.
