Myself and my son are going to be visiting PEI on Monday. We're hoping to do a few days of camping, but unsure of where to go. We're looking for a spot off the beaten path, preferably not an actual campground.
Also any tips on things to do or see are welcome!
And if you'd be able to host us at some point next week that might be nice too!

Also, if anyone would like to join us for some camping, we'd love the company!

You guys would be welcome to camp at my place. My amenities are basic at best but since you're camping anyway I guess that's what your looking for. I'll be working tomorrow (monday) and the rest of the week but we can get the campfire going in the evenings. I won't be home till 6 or so tomorrow evening.
Call or text me and I can give you directions to the place.

The weather isn't going to be very good on Monday - so best of luck. Mosquitoes are awful this time of year - so tuck in those cuffs and collars and wear repellent! Lots of places aren't open yet;I see you've had an offer so I hope that works out. The best places to hike are The Confederation Trail - and other trails mentioned in 'Trails PEI.' Another neat place is the Macphail Homestead and Orwell Corner historic village near Orwell PEI where there are lots of places to walk.

Planning to visit in late October for a couple of days before moving on to the next province. Coming from Vancouver. Is there much to do in St. John's in the Fall or are a lot of touristy places closed after the summer? I plan to walk everywhere for the most part to explore as much as I can! Recommendations/suggestions/advice are welcomed! Thanks in advance! PS - if a couch can be spared, that would be grand!

If you are coming to PEI as well you are most welcome to come and stay here while your passing through.

Thank you, Blaine. However my plans have changed and the trip is to be rescheduled for the spring most likely. I appreciate your offer very much. Thanks again!

Hey to all couchsurfers out there,
I'm gonna spend Monday to get from Quebec to the east coast. And from there I wanna go to Halifax as a final destination with stops on PEI, maybe Cape Breton. Looking for people who wanna share a car or who can give me a ride to some of the spots, or could give me any advice I would be happy to receive your messages!

Hi! I can't host, but if you're ever in the downtown Charlottetown area I would be more than happy to meet up in a coffee shop for a hot beverage and some travelling stories! I can also give you tips and advices on places to go and things to see! :)

I know there are a lot of stereotypes about the cold Canada Brrrrr :D but I would like to hear from you! is it really cold? because I'm thinking about moving to Canada, I don't know where to move, or where to look for a job! and I don't know how is the weather and the living looks like.
So your opinion will be much appreciated :)

Eastern Canada gets alot of snow and usually gets to about -30 with the wind chill in the winter months. Summer months are a different story when it comes to eastern Canada, the temperature usually stays around +25. The economy in Eastern Canada depends alot on tourists.. Western Canada; Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba; they dont get near as much snow but the temperature in the winter months can drop to -60. However, western Canada is where all the jobs and money is !! If you plan to move for work, I would suggest Alberta. www.jobbank.gc.ca is a good website to look for jobs.

wait! -60 degree C?!!!! :OOOO is that even possible! :D
but I heard that Toronto has a lot of Jobs too ( I'm an electronics engineer ( Embedded systems to be specific ))
That was really helpful! :) Thank you :)
