Overview
About Me
I am currently a engineering student working towards her final papers. I grew up from a multilingual family in Malaysia. Coming to Germany for my studies has opened my eyes and boarden my horizon. I cherish every single moment that I have in Germany to see, to feel, to touch, to try more.
It has always been my dream to meet other people from other cultures and backgrounds. If I am given one wish, I wish that everyone can come together and stop fighting each other.
PHILOSOPHY
As Dad always put it,
"Yes, I have made a lot of mistakes in my life. Coz life doesn't come with User's Manual."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A friend recommended me to try it out and so here I am!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed most of the time since I have a small student room. So once I get a bigger room, then maybe I could host someone.
Interests
Aside from travelling, I love to cook and bake. In addition to that, eat! I think that food is a reflection of ones culture and a perfect way to meet more people!
Since beginning of the year, I caught of the yoga fever and have been doing it everyday till now.
I am a growing minimalist at heart and trying now my best to grasp the meaning of balance.
- culture
- books
- dining
- cooking
- socializing
Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up loving Beethoven and somehow throughout the years, I begin to like a mixture of everything. My favourtie music artist right now is Oh Wonder, SEEED and Eminem.
Any movies from Studio Ghibi are my favourite. I love them a lot and watched every single movies more than once.
I just read any books that I can get my hands on. I usually trade with other travellers or in the hostel that I am staying in. I guess I can't really say what is my favourite. But one book remains the biggest imspirtation for me - Click, a collaborative novel from various writters.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sneaked out of a cottage at 4am in the morning with a small torchlight to reach the top of Mount. Olympus for sunrise. Amazing and moments later only to realize how scary the road up top was.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not a good teacher of anything but I am glad to share what I have learned till now. I am a big minimalist at heart and love yoga. I will love to share my passion for food, cooking and food experiments as well.
