CURRENT MISSION

Trying to organise a short notice trip to Gothenburg, Stockholm, Lulea and Lapland to hike the Kungsleden (King's Trail). Host me for part of it, even if it's in your garden (as long as there's grass I can pitch a tent on) or show me around the cities of Gothenburg, Stockholm or Lulea (DATES BELOW)

You'll get an energetic, enthusiastic, adventurous soul wanting to make connections- tell me your favourite dish and let's see if I can make the best meal you've ever eaten

When I'm not organising a trip, I can be found running near the beach in Edinburgh or in one of the many excellent pubs in the city

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few people some years ago when I was a student, didn't have much at the time but always put effort and energy to make couchsurfers feel welcome. I never actually surfed myself so I feel now it's the time for the universe to pay me back in this time of need.
Also met one of my best friends through Couchsurf meet-ups

As per my current mission, I am looking for folk to show me round/host me in Gothenburg (15th Aug), Stockholm (16th Aug) and Lulea (dates TBC but likely to be after the Kungsleden hike so tentatively 25th-28th)

Walked the Cape Wrath Trail in 2021 which is my proudest achievement to date
Most outdoor pursuits and spontaneous adventures are my bag, I am not great with the indoors and spending time on a screen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Best things I've seen in my life are definitely some incredible landscapes across North Europe, whether in my home country (Scotland), Iceland, Norway and Sweden (which are by far my favourite places) After hiking for hours the view enjoyed from mountain tops can be totally breathtaking. Fortunately, pictures don't do justice to what you have in front of you. I rejoice in the fact there are still things worth seeing in person, and emotions that cannot be shared through the Internet by copying and pasting them.

If I had to pick one experience, last year I traversed the length of Scotland on the Cape Wrath Trail, over 500 k (320 miles) in two weeks. I enjoyed it so much I now want another long-distance hike, hence why I am in Sweden

What I Can Share with Hosts

Can probably share a few recipes with you, we could make food together or have a few drinks, or just go on an impromptu adventure
In general, you'll get good vibes and loads of energy (unless I am just back from the Kungsleden- in which case bear with me :D )
