ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 year old photographer from holland, currently travelling with my girlfriend thru South America. Making crazy pictures with friends is my main goal in life: http://www.janwillemgroen.nl/episch
I´m always interested in what makes people tick. That makes a click. And ofcourse humor like monty python, douglas adams and terry pratchett. I like the color green, pizza, buddha, beer, creative people, doing nothing, sustainability and after seven books about survivalism my girlfriend says I can handle the apocalypse. I always know where my camera, armyknife and towel are.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point in time I´m learning my way thru CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I couchsurfed I got a big welcome and met a bunch of friendly couchsurfers in one weeks time. I had no idea you could just chill out and stay with people who were virutally strangers. It opened my eyes and when I return my couches will be available on CS.
My couches were available for sleeping before I discovered cs and I hear (and know from personal
experience) that they are comfy leather sleepingbeasts. Hammocks and aerobeds will follow.

Currently reading The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy for the seventh time. Terry Pratchett. trying to read the complete works of Leonardo Da Vinci (that´s tough)
Fawlty towers, monty python that sorta thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing on CS: staying with a host who was there half of the time and people were coming in and out of his house and it was all fun and games.
In the real world: Boipeba beach, Nowhere Festival, Familiar Forest Festival.
