ABOUT ME

I am from Barcelona, Spain, where I grew up . After highschool I decided to study abroad and went to Munich, Germany, where I lived for almost 6 years. In 2013 I did an exchange semester in Lund, Sweden, where I discovered the couchsurfing world and it was a really great experience! :) After doing an internship in a research center at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana, I went back to Germany and finished my Masters. I am currently doing a PhD in wave energy systems in Edinburgh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled a bit around Sweden during my exchange and was hosted by very nice couchsurfers in Stockholm and Göteborg.
I was surprised by the easy going, altruist Couchsurfing philosophy and would like to continue gathering these kind of experiences.

Interests

I'm interested in everything that has to do with getting to know and understand this world a little better like: travelling, meeting new people and ways of thinking, reading, going to the theater, museums...I also like doing sports, eating, cooking...
I'm also a climate change believer, I am concerned about sustainability in different contexts and enjoy thinking and discussing about idealistic systems.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Aurora Borealis on the best day of the year in Abisko!
The fjords in Norway: one of the most amazing landscapes I've ever seen. Just incredible!
