ABOUT ME

Germán Pavelek, DJ and Electronic Music Producer from Buenos Aires based in Spain since 2002.
Was born in Buenos Aires Argentina, in the middle of march, 1984.
Ive had a great interest in music since childhood. At the age of 10, my father bought me my first keyboard, and by the following years i began to create my own mixes with radio cassettes. From that point on, my appreciation for music grew and i would continue to be influenced by various artists.

A selection of important electronic artists that have had a major influence on him are: Underworld, BT, Infected Mushrooms, Orbital, The Future Sound Of London, Subheim, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Green Velvet, Laibach, Unkle, Photek, Archive, Boards Of Canada, Air, Fron 242, Aphex Twin, Lunatic Calm, Crystal Method, Sneaker Pimps, and Autechre to name a few.

In 2002 i emigrated to Spain and fascinated by the electronic dance scene in Palma de Mallorca i studied the art of DJing with local Djs Tony R & Isaac Indart. Soon after began travelling around Spain, spinning in cities such as Mallorca, Sevilla and Madrid.

In 2004 i decide to make my own music and experimented with several styles mainly including: Ambient, Trip-Hop, Downtempo, Big Beat, Techno, Industrial, Synthpop, Electroclash, EBM, Goth, Progressive House, Minimal.I developed the electronic music project Astral Darkness.

I wanted to further develop my technical skills and entered the Microfusa Sound Engineering School in 2008, specializing in music production and sound creation for video games. Now i am recording my first album with Astral Darkness and also making my DJ productions as German Pavelek.

I love to meet new people and and share different experiences.
