About Me

I consider myself an EXPLORER and probably that explains why I work in science.
I am fascinated about different cultures and ways of living and I am always looking to live new experiences.

Originally from Barcelona, and currently living in the vibrant city of London. Unfortunately, due to the (ridiculously expensive) housing situation here, I can not host any traveler now (sorry!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To inspire and get inspired. To step outside the comfort zone. To share. To learn.

Interests

Art in any format and shape.
All sort of sports, especially yoga (and acrobatics), climbing, running and dancing!
Unspoiled nature and adventure.
Finding silly excuses to interact with people and have a conversation.
Cooking and eating (mostly organic food, vegan and vegetarian).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love to explore new bands every day (thanks Spotify!) as I believe music is an extremely powerful tool to communicate. Some bands I love include Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Radiohead, Devendra Banhart, The National, Eels, Fleet Foxes, Tame Impala, Amy Winehouse, Kings of Convenience, Buena Vista Social Club, Ibeyi, Wilco, Sufjan Stevens, Alabama Shakes. And Mishima is my favorite catalan band.
Movies: Inception, Amelie, Moonrise Kingdom, Into the Wild, Call me by your name, Whiplash
Series: Wild wild country, Transparent, Black Mirror, Mr. Robot, Breaking Bad.
Books: Paul Auster (Tumbuctú, The music of chance, Mr. Vertigo), Haruki Murakami (Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage, Kafka On the Shore), Samurai (Hisako Matsubara), José Saramago (El viaje del elefante)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked from Percé to Îles-de-la-Madeleine (Québec) by sailingboat, what means 28 hours at sea being part of the sailing crew!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to poach an egg or how to combine the leftovers to create a delicious meal!
I am willing to learn whatever you would like to teach. Specially interested in music, yoga, meditation and different ways of connecting with people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my scientific (and also spiritual) view of life. A glass of red wine. And a good conversation ;)
