About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to discover beautiful cities and people before I head home to university

ABOUT ME

I'm a college student from the United States who's studying abroad in Europe this year. I spent 6 months studying philosophy in England, and now I'm in Denmark! I like making music and meeting people, late nights and long conversations are what I thrive on. I'll be in Europe for a few more weeks before heading home and I want to make the best of it!

PHILOSOPHY

i want enough time to be in love with everything

Music, Movies, and Books

music: i love everything, anything that will make me want to dance and sing along. i love the national, radiohead, sigur ros, the beatles, simon and garfunkel, outlandish, the strokes, cesaria evora, grizzly bear, the decembrists; i love bossa nova -- antonio carlos jobim especially, and the argentinian tango, like piazzola; i love classical music as well, and electronic music, so pretty much all music.

books: too many to list, of course, but recently it's been hopscotch by julio cortázar, books by garcía marquez and borges, anton chekhov, walt whitman, italo calvino, and many others

films: again, too many to list. i love watching and discovering movies, and have not seen nearly enough!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

in terms of travelling, probably seeing peru -- i spent two weeks there a few years ago and it was the most magical experience of my life. musically, i have to say that seeing radiohead play live was still the most transcendent experience i've witnessed
