CURRENT MISSION
Studying animal sciences hoping to contribute to improved farm animal welfare one day. Enjoying student life and as much as possible of Uppsala and it's surroundings.

ABOUT ME
I like music, art and animals. And mountains. But I bet that's what happens if you come from such a flat country as The Netherlands... I am honest, open minded, caring and creative. And of course I have flaws, I guess the worst one is my stubbornness. I love good conversations and learning new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to become a host because I think the philosophy of couchsurfing is amazing. "Hi, you want to see my country? Well here you can sleep!" An awesome way of creating possibilities for seeing the world without spending lots of money. I hope many different people would like to share my place with me, I'd love to learn something from everyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed just once so far but it was on the account of a friend so unfortunately I can not show the reference. We found out one day before flying that we could not make it in time to the airport with public transport and found someone nearby the airport willing to host 3 persons she never met before. So kind! I just want to do the same for other people.

Interests

Animals, art, music, nature, sustainable farming, photography, swimming, dancing.. ah well I could go on for a while. Also I like trying out new things :)

Music, Movies, and Books

In general I am quite fond of indierock and a bit more folky music. Currently obsessed with the last album of José González and the last really good book I read was The Storyteller, by Jodi Picoult. One of my favourite movies is The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
