ABOUT ME

I'm Kristina and I'm 23 years old. I live in a small town in Baranja, Beli Manastir, which is 30-ish km away from the town of Osijek. I'm a Croatian Language and Literature major in Osijek and in my spare time I sing at the band, train boxing, full body fitness and Zumba fitness, so you can say I'm a pretty active person. I love to travel and for my young years I've traveled quite a lot. Seven years of dancing in the folk group brought me miles and miles of travelling experience and it enlarged my wish to travel even more. Due to tones of obligations, I haven't had a "big trip" in a while, but I tend to "run away" from time to time in a different city in Croatia or in one of the Croatia's neighboring countries. Both fun & useful fact about me is that I know and simply love to cook, so anybody staying at my place won't ever have to worry of being hungry. And that's basically it. I speak Croatian and English fluently and I should work a little on my German, but I also strive to learn French, Russian, Portuguese and Spanish. To start with. Later on maybe even Italian and Turkish. :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new in couchsurfing, never (YET) surffed nor hosted. Well, not officially - three years ago a girl from Japan stayed at my house for a week, but that was through Lions Club student exchange. Nevertheless, Mitsuki said she enjoyed staying at our family place and had a blast with me and my friends.

I joined this community because I believe it's a great way to minimize travelling expenses while meeting fun & friendly people all over the world.

BOOKS - I'm a literature and language major so I read quite a lot and a wide specter of different genres, but in the core of my soul I'm a SF & Fantasy freak :$
MUSIC - mostly good old (and new) Rock'n'Roll, but I also enjoy various music genres and love to listen to different but QUALITY music. Well, maybe the best way to describe my taste in music is schizophrenic, because I really enjoy a variety of different musical genres and artists/bands.
MOVIES - I'm a little bit behind on movie watching so I usually watch anything promising on TV. But I adore Tim Burton's movies (yes, ALL OF THEM) and could watch them on repeat. I'm also pretty much in love with the latest Marvel adaptations. And Fantasy freak applies to this field too.
