About Me
ABOUT ME
Hey! I'm Francisco Marquez, and I'm laid back, art loving student of poetry. I'm currently headed to NYU for my MFA in Poetry. I'm Venezuelan, and I speak Spanish and English. I'm up for anything fun, as well as anything relaxing. I'm low maintenance and I'm always willing to help out with anything. I've traveled a lot in my life, so I'm experienced in moving around. I backpacked around Europe for a couple months, and travelled around in Venezuela as well. If you any questions about me, message me—I like to think I know a little bit about everything (especially visual art and literature).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I adore meeting people, hearing their stories—it is, after all, my hobby as a writer. I love to travel and collecting stories and experiences is part of the fun. When I move to NY, I'll do my best to supply a couch, although I doubt I'll have a decent enough space for anyone—but I do appreciate the goodwill of others to let me stay at their place, I will offer in return great conversations, laughs, even cleaning, or whatever is needed.
That's also the reason why I can't host at the moment, because I'm moving soon and I have no space to offer in Tallahassee.
Interests
I'm a crazy fan of pizza. So, I love food. And like I said, I'm an art aficionado, I love going to museums, galleries, and meeting artists and people that can appreciate art as well. I do love learning and traveling as well. I'm getting a masters in poetry, so obviously, I can talk anyone's ears off about poetry and literature and art. Human rights issues are a big passion of mine, I'll defend anyone and their right to be to the very end. I'm kind of a nerd, I like everything, talk to me if you have any questions!
