About Me

ABOUT ME

(Currently traveling around Latin America by bicycle)

Check my solidarity project: www.mochilerosolidario.com / Instagram: mochilerosolidario

It's hard to describe myself without being biased, but I'd say I'm open-minded, cheerful and even if I am introverted I love to hang out with people and specially my friends (which I consider to be the family I've chosen). I am a positive person and always see the glass half-full instead of half-empty. I believe in the universe and that if we really want something to happen and we project our positive thoughts, the universe will help us to achieve it.
I love travelling and meeting people from all over the world, and I really enjoy getting in touch with different cultures, traditions and having interesting and deep conversations with strangers. I'm amazed about the things we can have in common even if we've grown up in completely diferent countries and cultures and I believe in the natural kindness of people.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's important to be positive in life and try to enjoy most of our time here. Try to deal with things as they come and not worrying about things that still haven't happened or not even may happen. Decide by yourself taking into account the advice of those you appreciate and take the risk sometimes. Do what you think it's ok despite what others may say and try to do what you love and follow your dreams!
On of the quotes I try to have always in my mind is: "No one is in charge of your happiness but you"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For me couchsurfing is not only a way to meet new people but also a way to exchange cultures, thoughts, experiences. When you travel you don't really live fully the destination if you don't meet or get in touch with locals. I think that travelling is not visiting touristic spots. Travelling is being imbued with the culture of that place, with the people and its way of living, its traditions, history and experiences. Travelling is to let yourself go and trying to live the moment with opened eyes and mind. Travelling is also realising that most of the prejudices are not true and that the only way to prove it, it's going there and get to know that country and its people in person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my CS experiences have been really worthy. From CS events, to my trips or hosting, I've met so many interesting people.
I've been hosted by some incredible people while travelling, I've hosted awesome people, and I've also taken part in different CS events in Paris and Barcelona where I met really cool and interesting people, some of them my friends now.
