About Me

Hey there! How are you? So, here is Alberto. I am from Barcelona and last year I have been living around Germany doing some exchange programmes (Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin...) And now it's time for UK! I got a graduate position there and I am so glad to get to know another country :D I always glad to hear from you! Hope you can help me getting in touch with the city and so on!

CURRENT MISSION

Have a good time and meet new people. Discover the new city I'm moving in: Reading :D

ABOUT ME

Personally, I enjoy being curious and I like talking of everything while sharing different points of views.
I am 21 and I would say I am spontaneous, open minded, talkative and creative.

Nevertheless, when summer comes I prefer changing of atmosphere and work as a volunteer for some social tasks.

PHILOSOPHY

Never give something for impossible and don't surrender until there is absolutely no choice to succeed.

Learn as much as you can from another cultures since it will enrich your knowledge and understaning of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting during the university year and attending coachsurfing events ^^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many friends/colleagues/friends of friends. This is a great experience, at least for me. You spend a nice weekend or some nice days with somebody you never met, probably studying something completely different, with a completelly different character, personality, experiences. 3

I have been living with a group of 14 people last summer in a volunteering camp and this year I am going to do the same in Switzerland. It is not exactly the same, but it is another mean so as to meet different cultures, too.

Interests

My interests are continuously changing. Whatever stimulates my mind can become one of my hobbies and some of them are kind of geek, jaja
For instance I love undergound map designs, since it is something which is always present in our life but few times we stop to think how did they end up being the way they are nowadays.

Although I like any kind of sports, I have only time for jogging right now.

History is another subject which interests me, and last year I took part in a workcamp in a KZ which comprised a historical study and effects of this hisstory in our current life.

And furthermore music, contemporany art, films, creative writing, cooking new things, trying to learn to drive...

Music: techno/house for partying, indie to commute to university, classical to study. But if you host, you are my DJ, haha
Movies: Gattaca - follow your dreams
Madisson hills - accept the consequences of your decisions.
Harry Potter: the way I've learned English
The hours: life
Drive: second chances?
An education: naivitee
... -love cinema

Books: Atonement and not many more because after university I can't read much - low energy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To log-in here! I met so many good friends in Frankfurt through this website, that I can't imagine this world without coachsurfing ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

We can cook together :D I love to torture people while cutting onions ;)
But I love to cook. An to use fresh stuff. Bio if possible.
We can talk about live with a bottle of (red-)wine... or whatever.
I am good listener :D For me to meet people is like to read a book. They tell you their story, their experiences...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you how to commute the best in airports. And be an airport engineering after one night together (certified by Alberto training center ;)

I mean, depends on you! cooking, jogging together, cycling, films, to visit museums, best online shopping tips...
