HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to have room-mate, I like to share my small room to you. I will be very happy to accompany you to hang out around Yogyakarta, to see the beautifully Malioboro at night, wonderfully excotic Prambanan temple or just have chit chat with warm and hospitality native.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's first time for me to join this organization, but I have some friends both Indonesian and foreign and they always contact me if they visit Yogyakarta. For them, I am the one of some destinations in Yogyakarta that must be visited, hehe. My family and I always happy to have you as our special guest.

Interests

I like to share everything relating to culture, language, literature or just chit chat for funny things. Besides, having small group discussion about certain topic is also interesting to do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read novel and megazines to fill my free time. Reading book relating to language, cultural,and Islamic studies is must to enrich my knowledge. I also like to listen to the music such as Avanged Sevenfold, Daughtry and also Indonesian music like Padi and Iwan Fals, but sometimes I love to listen traditional and instrumental music. Watching movies is just the way to refresh my mind, but crazy thing I'd done is watching more than three times for the movies I love the most like The Blood Diamonds, The Last King of Scotland, Sex and The City, The Davinci Code (and Series) and some of Iranian movies. I am not too interesting in horror movie or Korean movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I visited another cities in Indonesia moreover another cities in this world, I found different culture, food, and custom that strange and odd for me. Adaptation and tolerant are must. But something that must be underlined is that in everywhere I go, I did not find the different perception about honesty, loyalty, and respectability. For me, food and custom only attribute of nations, but the honesty, loyoalty and respectability are the most important component to create friendship. So, if we keep those components in every place we visit, surely we can survive to face all the difference.
