We are creative young dreamers that believe in possibilities. We want to live more simply and meet others who live life to the fullest. We strive to be open minded and try not to take ourselves too seriously. We have been married for 4 years and have dreamed of travelling together since we met.

We like to think we're not typical Americans. It's experiences like couchsurfing that keep broadening our perspective.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have done 'wwoofing' all across New Zealand (staying with people and eating with them in exchange for working a few hours/day on their properties and such).

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything from alternative to rap to rock n' roll. Our favorites include Coldplay, Sigur Ros, Over the Rhine, Sleeping at Last and Mutemath.

We love books that make us think critically about life. Our favorites include The Giver, The Hunger Games, The Polar Express, Velvet Elvis. We're hoping to find more time to read this year. We take recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit our jobs and move across the world to live for a couple years.

Getting married. It was fun and scary and is quite the journey.

Meeting one of our favorite bands (MuteMath) after a live show in Minneapolis. Cole did a remix for one of their songs and it was hugely popular that we got to meet the band.
