About Me
ABOUT ME
I try to help my friends whenever I can. I am responsible, reserved, shy, curious, positive and so on. Actually, I have difficulties to describe myself. Although I am shy, I can be very talkative. I like mainly outdoor and cultural activities. I am from Niteroi, a city closed to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2013, I had the opportunity to study abroad, so I lived in Leicester, England. It was an amazing and challenging year, which I could learn some important life lessons.
PHILOSOPHY
People should look for something that make them happy. Their jobs need to give happiness too. I know that these sentences are very cliche, but they are true :).
I generally have a very busy life, with many things to do. I've never travelled by myself in my country. In europe, I am trying to have more fun. Travelling by myself is a challenging experience, that i am learning important lessons.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the beginning, the main reason was to refuse travel expenses. Couchsurfing is a way to travel without spending a lot of money in accomodation. Plus, it is a good opportunity to meet new people and new cultures.
Nowadays, Couch surfing is a way to meet people, because i am not interested to avoid hostels. But, it also good to know how to behave, what to do and what is going on in a touristic place. Also, to speak with foreigns will help me with my language studies, mainly English.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am very new in this website. For a while, my only cs experience is showing my city to a traveler, which was a great time. so far, Id be happy to help tourists in Niteroi and Rio de Janeiro.
Interests
I like games that demand concentration, subjects related to science and technology, travelling, internet, to learn about languages and new cultures and so on. Now i am focused in learning english and spanish, so the more foreign people i can talk, better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living a year living in a different country, without family and close friends, made me more independent and gave me more self knowledge. I think everybody who wants to and can should live abroad, at least for a short time.
