About Me

MISSION

Travelling as much as I can, meeting interesting people who show me good eating places, explore nature together, clubs, bars and other special locations. I like couchsurfing because its incredible meeting different personalities and cultures worldwide. Moreover, you get the best insider information from locals, who are open minded and happy to show you around. So far I made great experiences with couchsurfing and would love to add new incredible travels.

CURRENT SITUATION
I am in between Jobs and have July and August off. I will start my journey with a retreat and then continue travelling from Bordeaux to Bilbao or even further if I have enough time.

ABOUT ME
I'm a very open-minded person, I use the chance to meet new people whereever I can. I like to learn more about other cultures, the lifestyle of different characters and I think its interessting what other people have done so far in their life.
I'm a responsive and tidy person and like to help out where I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I m easy-going and spontanuous and always curious about other peoples lifes and cultures. With couchsurfing I found a great solutions to realize this hunger. I started doing couchsurfing in 2014 during my semester abroad in California. Since then I made great couchsurfing experiences. More than 30! I love it, the coolest things happen when you hang out with locals, I think hotels are boring, you dont meet anyone who can make your day. I like to talk to people, share interests and go out. I will continue doing couchsurfing as long as I can.

Unfortunatly, back in the student time I didnt have the opportunity to host people. Since I am 19 I always lived in shared flats where we did not have a couch. And most of the time I only stayed at a place for 6 month (because of my international studies), so I used other peoples room as a short term rent where I used their room with their furniture. In this case its not easy to offer a place. But now I live and work in cologne and made this great city my base. Here i finally have a couch to share. I am happy to do this, because so many people offered me a place to stay and were so welcoming and caring to me that I want to give it back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did it once in Munich, stayed with a friend at a couples place, to test it out. There were so nice and easy-going. We went out for dinner together and they showed us around. Had the best time there and all the stories would not have happend if we would have stayed in a hotel. So I wanted more of thoise experiences.
Did it again in New York, but really spontanuous. I actually met him on the plane, we were waiting in line, started talking and he ask me were we re staying. I told him we will try to find a couchsurfer when we get there. He was spontanuous as me and we could sleep at his place. Funniest first night in NY.
Third time couchsurfing was in San Francisco with a friend. It was great and the shared flat was so close to the city. We even texted later about flying to Hawaii together with a few friends.
I made many more couchsurfing experiences during my semester abroad in Asia. Did it in South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and many more. Its incredible what I experienced thanks to those hosts!!

Interests

I love hanging out with my friends, we use every free moment to do some new activities like festivals, hiking, Tennis, travelling, coocking or game nights. I used to dance Hip Hop for 10 years and also trampolining. I love travelling, there is nothing that makes me more happy than travelling and meeting people from all over the world, so I lived 7 month in Sydney and travelled around Australia and to New Zealand, did a semester abroad in Los Angeles and spent 7 month in California with many other smaller trips. Beginning of 2017 I came back from my 6 month Asia trip. I went there for a semester abroad in Busan South Korea but we had the chance to travelled a lot and so I can crossmark Japan, Beijing, Shanghai, Hingkong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailad and Singapore :-) Oh yes I love travelling.

Before I started working a few years ago I did another three month South America Trip including Panama, Columbia, Peru, Bolivia and Chile. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like lazy evenings with movies (such as GOT, la casa de papel or different moves from 20th Century Fox, because I did an internship there) and reading books (right now "Think fast and slow") but I prefere to go out and undertake things :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the highway somewhere in East Australia in the dark morning. I got out the bus and realized that my hostel forgot to pick me up at the bus stop. So I just went to sleep at a petrol station till they would realize it. As an excuse they gave me a private surfing lesson in the morning. Here I had a great moment...
Sitting on my surfboard and waiting for the next wave when a big group of dolphins were swimming around me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love deeptalk. Lets leave small talk behind us and share special thoughts that make us richer.
