Hi everyone :)

I'm Mélissa. I'm 26 and I live in the center of Brussels.

After living two years in Spain (Barcelona/Girona) for my studies, I came back in my small hometown but quiet and cows were not my thing anymore. So I decided to go to live to the city. Therefore I moved to Brussels and I've been loving the city since the very beginning. Why? This city is not that big, it's actually a small size city but has the advantages of it. And most of all, it's a surprising multicultural city.

I work in an association helping migrants and I mainly teach them French. That way they can easilyier handle their life with autonomy. I also am in charge of the "homeworks school" for kids of the neighbourhood. My job amazes me day after day. I rub shoulders with many different cultures which I learn from, and those people have guided me to become a better human being.

I also hosted guys visiting Brussels the past few years. I met people from Spain, Germany, Poland, UK, Ireland, Canada... And wow, I can't get enough of this!

My love for discovering cultures is also translated by my love of travelling. I frequently am on the road to discover our wonderful planet. And when I do, I want to live as locals do. I've been travelling mainly in Europe and I went to Brazil too :) Next step is the amazing Egypt!

What else? I follow my intuition when I have to take decisions. I also medidate, not enough but I do my best ! I also train capoeira wich is the greatest sport ever: making friends who turn being your family, learning portuguese and samba beside the martial art itself. I went to Bahia and Recife in February 2017 :) AXE total!

I like spending time reading, watching series, crafting, knitting, learning new languages. I fluently speak english and spanish, my monther tongue is french! I can handle italian, catalan, dutch and portuguese :) I love learning new languages and I'm currently trying to know arabic !

Currently in holiday, I'm looking for discovering how locals live all around the world. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys.
