ABOUT ME

It's hard to talk about yourself...
I studied and worked briefly in academy, researching and teaching computer science, but I'm interested by almost everything in the world.
I try to be open to any philosophy, religion or culture, to get -I hope- interesting exchange with everybody.

PHILOSOPHY

Always try to be open minded, calm and peaceful, in order to understand people.
And never forget to be curious, because everything is interesting. Only the way used to think about may be boring!

Interests

Sharing any thoughts with other people, computer science and all sciences in general, hiking/treking, ethnobotany, free software and open source philosophy.
Recently spent some time learning the basics of blacksmithing and foundry (aluminum, brass) and metalwork in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

I try to stay open minded, but still love my first serious contact with music : Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin...
My favorite author is Terry Pratchett, still haven't read all his books (he was prolific!)... A few other authors/books I enjoyed : Isaac Asimov, Colin Niel, Nietzsche, Seneca.
A movie I really appreciated : The Bridge on the River Kwai.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am deeply interested in learning new language, but also terrible at that ! :D
I am not a professional tinkerer, but I may help, teach what I know and would be happy to learn skills in woodworking/metalworking.
I am also trying (slowly) to learn some music, mostly piano. I like listening other people playing, learn a little bit, and maybe play with others at some point?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be happy paying a drink and discussing if hosts have time for that !
I like to cook (not amazing dishes, but decent ones I think/hope), so I can cook something to my hosts :)
