ABOUT ME

I'm a Malaysian-Chinese, a freelance videographer, a filmmaker and an entrepreneur for a tech startup in Kuala Lumpur.

I'm straightforward, always up for new things and like to challenge myself, especially in creativity. I am also very curious about technology and the engineering world.

I love traveling and I used to backpack around Europe back in 2012.

Countries I've been to:
Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, China, Germany, France, Austria, UK, Poland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Australia (hope to continue to travel around the world and meet amazing people!)

I graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and studied filmmaking, major in Cinematography and Lighting.

PHILOSOPHY

Be good, be nice and be wonderful!

I appreciate people who are honest and positive about life. I once heard a story about a boy who collects the starfish by the beach and throws them back into the sea.

There was a boy who goes to the beach and sees that there were starfish which were washed to the shoreline. Everyday, he would go there pick them up and throws them back to the sea. Then an old man saw this and came up to him to ask him, "There are so many of them, you won't be able to save all of them." Then the boy replied, "Well, at least I could save this one!"

This story teaches me about using our ability to do whatever we can to help others and make the world a better place!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the moment since I'm staying with my family, I can't really host people. However, if I have time, I could bring couchsurfers around the city where I stay and hang out for a bit! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled to Europe and stayed with couch surfers and their friends! It was the most memorable experiences in my life! We went to Copenhagen, Berlin, Vienna, Prague and the borders of Germany and Poland.

I love classical/orchestral music and also good songs from all genres.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a photographer and filmmaker, so I will be able to teach you how to take nice photos/take nice photos of you and also how to produce a short film by showing you the best angles for your shots. If there's a chance, maybe we could even shoot a short film together!

Besides that, I like to do crafty things. I have a passion to find nice-patterned cloth and making beautiful things out of it.

I am environmental-friendly and I know how to cook a few Chinese dishes, and love ice-skating! I'm an outgoing person who plays many sports such as netball, badminton, table-tennis, basketball and squash.

I love listening to music and going for dance and drama performances, too!
