About Me

I spent half a year studying in Istanbul, usually I live and study in Berlin.
If you'd like to share stories about yourself, your life or whatever seems important to you, I am genuinely interested and a careful listener.
If you prefer to stay by yourself, I'll be happy that I could find a place on your couch and I won't have a problem to do my stuff independently :)

I am honest by saying I like the differences in people. Different attitudes, ways of living, thinking and even behaving are interesting to me. I always try to understand rather than to judge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sure, an obvious reason why couchsurfing is a good choice is that you can save a lot of money..
But to me that's not the main reason. If one can decide between a hostel receptionist's "tourist attraction tips" or the favorite places and areas of a person who is actually living in the city... I guess the choice is clear.

Interests

I enjoy running, also tried kickboxing, Pilates and sailing and I am definitely open to other sports!
On the weekends I usually go out. I often tried to solve the dilemma (which is not possible by definition haha) of enjoying the night but loosing the day or vice versa. I'm doing my best!
I really enjoy cooking and since I was in Turkey I know a few more delicious recipes.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favorite books is "The unbearable lightness of being" by Milan Kundera

One of my favorite movies is "Gegen die Wand" by Fatih Akin

Favorite music is not that easy. For going out in Berlin there is no way around electronic music of course, but I also enjoy dancing to hiphop or even reggae from time to time.
At home I prefer listening to rather calm stuff.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Turkey
