ABOUT ME

i am a frank and warm person. What I enjoy about travelling is learning about the local (sub)culture. Always in for a visit in your local pub / Jazz cafe / live music venue of any sort. I enjoy a good political discussion on the basis of mutual respect and understanding. Though I will insist everyone should be a feminist. ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Comme les oiseaux, l'homme migre depuis toujours.
Peu de choses changent, sauf notre appréhension et les décisions politiques.
- Like birds, mankind has always been on the move. Little changes, except for our apprehension and political decisions.

I believe in universal ethics as a base of our (still) globalised world. After all, we're all way more similar than different... We should spread more love! Couldn't hurt to listen and smile more often, could it?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had wonderful experiences surfing with host in India, Iran, France, Latvia, Russia, ...
It is their thoughts and views that shaped my travels. Nothing more exciting than changing your own reality for someone elses for just some days - couchsurfing is probably as close as one can (and should ;) ) get.

兴趣

... travelling, gathering with friends, choirmusicsessions, swimming, skiing, Yoga and Jogging (I can go some km s now, after some dreadful years of sorrow). Honestly, I think water is my element. In any physical condition. Waiting to go scuba diving again!

音乐、电影和书籍

I love electronic music, techno, when I go out. Freejazz and Classic for listening. Indie for Dreaming. David Bowie's Major Tom for bonfires (I know, I shouldn't do this to him).

Movies: ahhh, too many, I go to the movies at least once per month. I love big screen documentaries! And Russian classics.
