About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi;) This is a girl who's always eager to explore new things in the world. She doesn't like to limit herself in traditional paths or her own comfort zone. She loves to meet people and get inspirations from them;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people from the place you travel makes the experience more memorable.

Interests

Travelling (definitely): enjoy visiting places for their culture and meeting people there; enjoy going to places where challenges and difficulties exist, like mountains and rural areas.

Music too: listening to music almost whenever I'm free to do so. Can play the piano and have gained some teaching experience before. Now learning guitar on my own, which becomes my companion when I'm home alone.

Photography: won't feel bored when I'm travelling alone as I have my DSLR and my film camera with me. I always feed my camera with the beautiful scenery before feeding myself.

Art: not a skillful artist or painter, but enjoy doing some artwork when I have time. I like to collect rubbish and turn them into something useful.

Hiking: probably a popular activity for Hong Kongers(because we are surrounded by hills), including me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly into piano and acoustic music. Pops and different kinds of rocks also. Jazz as well! Classical? Of course.
I like soundtracks. Amelie is so far my favorite one.

Any kind of movies. If I have to mention some, probably the before sunrise/sunset/midnight series, amelie, midnight in paris, 500 days of summer, life is beautiful, room, carol, Persepolis, 2046....

I love stories, so most books I read are novels or short pieces. Recently reading some self-development non-fictions and have gained some insights too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2015 is an amazing year to me: ) And I hope I can continue my life amazingly!

For the last time I travelled in Europe with my friend, we wrote Chinese calligraphy and made Chinese knob in the street and the hot response of the people really impressed us.

Travelling in Tibet is also an unforgettable one! Unique and fantastic for its culture, food, religion and landscape and the difficulties you can experience there.

First canyoning experience in Cetina in Croatia: Omg I'd love to try it again and again. I think I'm getting excited for trying more challenging activities.

Finally hitch-hiked! In the amazing Lofoten islands; )

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy sharing my own culture to people. That's how I found that I do love my hometown and our traditional culture (like our language and calligraphy and cooking.)

A beginner in photography and guitar. I hope to take pictures with soul and play music with a heart. I've got a long way to go. If you got a guitar at your home and don't mind playing with me we can have a little jamming and singing together ;)

I'm a collector of stories of people around the world. Everyone is an interesting and unique individual;)

And sharing recipes of different cuisines will definitely be lovely;)
