About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is being actively part of this world by continuously learning new things and sharing what I have already experienced

ABOUT ME

Outgoing anthropologist looking for new challenges. I grew up in Venice, Italy but I have also lived in Madrid, London, Brussels and for 3 months in Peru..Next step: Netherlands!

PHILOSOPHY

"Ama sua, ama llulla, ama qh'ella" the Inca way of living, that means "don't lie, don't steal, don't be lazy".

Interests

Cooking, traveling (especially with my motorbike), doing sports, playing with animals, making conversation in front of a good beer with good friends! Walking in the park and feeding ducks and swans (I know it is weird, but it relaxes me).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, from Jazz to Blues, from Peruvian Cumbia to Classic R&B, but my heart beats for Rock & Roll.
Reading books is a part of every students life, so I read a lot in the past years, mostly anthropological stuff, but now I am into classic literature such as Hemingway, Chatwin and Italo Calvino.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote a thesis about Drag Queens, another one about Hippotherapy, and the latest one about the Alpaca fiber sector in Peru for which I travelled through the Andes at 4500m and met people that live without electricity, hot water, internet, telephones but always ready to share a soup and everything they've got with you.
I dove in the Canal Grande of Venice from the Rialto Bridge when Italy won the World Cup.
I traveled with my motorbike across Spain and from Barcellona to Venice in a single "back-breaker" trip! I did also Venice-Brussels in one day travel, but it was less demanding that time.
I did a march in Rome for the animal rights.
I assisted to the religious procession in Seville during the Easter: wow.
I worked with disabled student for one year, learning how strong people can be.
When I was 12 I mysteriously won a drawing contest, but I don't understand how i did it, yet, after almost 18 years: OK, I am creative but definitely not skilled in drawing.

Teach, Learn, Share

If people ask me to explain something to somebody, probably I would talk about the importance of understanding the cultural differences as an opportunity to grow... and then about the pivotal role played by the life experience in making the person we are or we aim to be..
