About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Bracing for the winter, planning on travelling. Either North or West, depending on how things develop. Anyone's welcome here for the moment!

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm a cheerful Norwegian in his early 20s living in Oslo, where I live as a Viking and work as a software developer. I like to travel and meet new people, so I thought couchsurfing might be fun, a friend recommended it. I've lived in the city for a couple of years now, grew up just half an hour from here. I know it pretty well, not a big fan of nightclubs, but if you're looking for a good coffee shop, pub or restaurant I'm your guy. I also know some great spots to go hiking, skiing or swimming out in the wilderness if that's your thing. Cheers!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be as open with other people as I can. Everyone's got their stories, and I'd like to know as many as possible. I don't appreciate being lied to, or people not keeping their word, so I strive towards honesty and trustworthiness myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've got a couch ready for anyone who's looking for a place to stay for a few nights. I can show you around Oslo if you want to go sightseeing, and I'd be happy to give some pointers if you're looking for things to do. If you just want some fun company I'm up for that too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I've slept on various friends' couches, though not through couchsurfing.org. Spent some time in Ohio, USA doing just that, it was great. I find the old soft leather ones are usually better to sleep on than the fancy new designer ones.

Seen System Of A Down live.

Ridden a 300m zipline through a pine forest in pouring rain.

Worked on an indie game engine for the XBox 360.

Been on the tallest mountain in Norway.

Been in a 15th century alehouse in York.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you anything about programming in general, especially C#, Javascript, Actionscript and SQL. I can also teach you Norwegian or English.

I'm studying Icelandic at the moment, plan on learning Arabic and Russian.
