I am a warmhearted and humorous person who is very curious about what is really going on - you know, with life, death, people and all that. I aim to enjoy and explore life and love to learn more about people, the world and myself in the process. I am tolerant, openminded, empathetic and sensitive. I love the fact that people come in all shapes and forms, and I am always learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This July I went on a holiday to Torrevieja for 3 weeks, and that is what finally made me create my own profile. (I have had a common profile before, see "Couchsurfing Experience"). I am happy to host people at my place, and have already hosted one couchsurfer. I am also planning to travel and participate in CS-events in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few couches in Norway, and hosted people from many countries. That was when I was living with Inga Becker, up until last summer. This is my first time with my own profile.

Interests

Enjoying life, playing guitar and singing songs, meeting and connecting with people, listening and moving to music, doing sports, going for walks and runs in nature, traveling, marveling at life's wonders, sharing moments that put a smile on my face - and that happens easily, killing time by making it living - I mean, getting out of time and into the now.

Passionate about music, love to many artists to mention - singer/songwriters, rock, country, blues, pop, metal, classical, grunge, traditional, meditative, Arabic, Latin, African, traditional - you mention it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived half a year in Tasmania, Australia and did field work on the social conflict surrounding the use and preservation of the old growth forests on the island. Met some beautiful people there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a certified user of a personality mapping device called Jungian Type Indicator. This is the Norwegian version of Mybers-Briggs Type Indicator. I use this in my work, and since I am also personally very interested in peoples' variations and similarities, I am happy to contribute with my experience on this matter.
I have a popular level understanding of psychology, philosofy and quantum physics. And I have a master's degree in Social Anthropology - the study of different cultures, and of people as a species and socially interactive beings.
I am also happy to play a song for you on my guitar :)
