ABOUT ME

I am a retired Soldier who has set up a Charity in Lebanon (Irish Lebanon Project) where I take volunteers to Lebanon to assist me with my projects there. I live alone in a little piece of Heaven in West Cork, out in the country. I have six daughters, a grand daughter and a grandson who come to visit me from time to time. I grow some vegetables and herbs and I love cooking. I am non religious but very Spiritual. I love music and reading. I am not a movie or TV guy (except for news).

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.

I have hosted Couch Surfers in 2013 and I look forward to meeting more CSs this year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Of the three Couch Surfers that came and visited me in July 2013, I made three new friends. It was a fantastic experience sharing with foreign Nationals who chose Ireland for their vacation. Couch Surfing is a total positive experience to me so far.

Interests

I work full time on a voluntary basis with a Charity that I set up in Lebanon called the Irish Lebanon Project where I take volunteers from around the world to Lebanon to assist me with my humanitarian projects there.

I delivered a baby in South Lebanon in 1985 while on a Tour of Duty there with the United Nations.
