About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Study 1 year of Architecture in Tokyo.
ABOUT ME
Hi!
Im Johan Bång. Right now I live with four other people in southern Malmö and I am currently studying to be an architect. My first year of my masters degree starts this fall and it will take place at the University of Tokyo Japan. Im so excited that I almost can't sit still when I think about it! I love buildings, drawing, form, art, expressions, spaces, people and all this I get to work with every day and its the best. One of my favourite styles is post-modern architecture, which is a style that involves quite a lot of humour and irony. A man loves ducks so he builds himself a gigantic duck from concrete as his house, that's the best architecture I can think of.
Enough about that. I love kind people and I hope I am being perceived as one myself. I also love people with integrity and a strong will, which I also hope I am being perceived as. Characters of all sorts interests me. Unusual minds that think in ways most don't. I have worked quite a lot with people, mostly children, with asperberger syndrome and autism. That is so inspiring. They often focus on what makes them happy which is my number one lesson I have learned from working with them. If you find something that makes you happy, stick with it. I was thinking of studying to be a psychologist first. The mind and our behaviour is really really fascinating. But I just love creating stuff so much that I couldn't let that go.
I suppose the rest we will come to further down! Hope to see you reader!
PHILOSOPHY
hmm. Whatever Jody Highroller would have said.

Music, Movies, and Books
My number one movie is "The Holy Mountain". Its the perfect movie. Mankind will never make a better movie than this movie. If you haven't seen it go watch it wight away.
There are a lot of movies i enjoy though. Harmony Korine and Lars von Trier are two of my best directors. Paul Thomas Anderson also, he is great. I love when movies take a step away from what is expected from them and do something completely different.
In music I really don't know where to start. I listen to everything, preferably as mixed as possible as each type of expression has its strengths and weaknesses. But all music that really have a personality is what I go for I suppose. Which can be everything from norwegian black metal or Wu-Tang clan to kraftwerk or miles davis.
Lately I've read the murakami trilogy "1Q84" and that was superb. My favourite book of all time is still "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When my dog had five pups last year was amazing..
Travelling south east Asia for four months has been my biggest experience so far. Highs and lows, rain and sunshine, overall a supernice experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am really good at playing Magic the Gathering. If anyone wants to learn I will gladly teach you!!
I would really like to learn japanese. Any help for a beginner to get started would be greatly appreciated.
Otherwise I would like to learn any thing new!
