I think making friends while traveling is the best part of it... And it's the easiest way to really discover a place and have amazing experiences! In my trips I enjoy much more when I visit friends that have stayed in my place (:

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well, last summer I backpacked with my GF and some friends trough Colombia, Ecuador, México, Guatemala and Cuba. We did some amazing snorkel in México, and saw marine turtles at the beach... The Mayan and Zapotecan ruins were amazing, too. In Ecuador we rode horses and did bungee jumping, I think is the best rush I have had... We stayed with some friends I knew from Couchsurfing and from other trips, and definetily that was the best part!

My place is 15 minutes to the old town. My roomate is my cousin. We have two rooms and a big sofa, but dad and grandma usually stay here, so that's why we generally don't accept requests and only pick couchsurfers when we have room!

Sometimes we are busy but other times we love to take couchsurfers to the beach, the mountain or to do some things in the city with our friends.
