ABOUT ME

My name is Fernando, but people call me Ferny, Nando, Fer,Fernandito, it all depends on what they prefer. I consider myself a people person, I enjoy human interaction. My passion is living life and enjoying every single moment. I like to play music (acoustic bass guitar) outside when the weather allows it and just embrace the moment. I've been studying Chemistry for about 5 years now and consider it to be a big part of my life. After all, life is only a wonderful mixture of chemicals!

PHILOSOPHY

Balance. I believe in order to live a happy life there has to be a near perfect balance within oneself. life is simple when someone decides to balance the things in their life.
I also believe in overall joy and the power a genuine smile has. When a person is truly happy within, that happiness radiates out of someone and is as visible as light.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last amazing thing I've done was get my research published. It was synthesis with Sunlight and the compounds obtained were tested as chemicals against cancer, showing promising results. Playing a small role in the difficult and ongoing research against cancer makes me happy and keeps me motivated to continue studying.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy Science and Philosophy anyone curious about or has questions that can be answered with science or philosophy I would gladly try to answer and discuss such things. I also believe we can learn about each other just being within each other's presence. I consider myself a pretty good cook, although it's difficult to cook real Mexican food in Germany I have managed.
