ABOUT ME
I am an open minded person always curious about different lifestyles. when travelling I am more interested in the trivial day-to-day things than in tourist attractions, I am curious about the way a country works and the style of living of it's people.
I studied teachers degree for the subjects biology and geography, next month I will start working in an NGO in the field of development aid.
I love being in nature, rock climbing, watching good movies or attending live concerts.
In spain I want to do woofing (voluntarily helping on an organic farm), but as I still have to wait for my wwoofing account to find a nice farm I would like to get to know some people through couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to explore as many things as possible without needing a car. You can get nearly everywhere by using public transport and your feet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had two wonderful hosts in Maurice, Indian ocean, and a great host in Nantes, France. I had a great time with them. In Salzburg I am living in a flat share and we are regularly hosting people. Always a nice experience.

Although I like listening to music I have to admit I am not an music expert like so many others. But I love it when people share the music they are listening to with me.
Favorite Books: Stefan Zweig, Heinrich Heine, Rocko Schamoni, Fantasy (Harry Potter, Lord of the rings), and in fact nearly everything though I am not into thrillers that much

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking to a volcanic grater at 02:00 am at full moon. Taking closed hiking trails at Île de la Réunion ending up without a trail continuing the hike in plain nature.

I can get you into the mountains!
I find it always kind of sad when people visit Austria and just see Vienna and maybe Salzburg. These are beautiful cities worth visiting, but what Austria really also is about are the mountains, even if you are not that much into nature you will love to make the experience.
