About Me

****--IMPORTANT--***
We do not take guests on weekdays, we will not accept guests who send generic impersonal request. Our house is not a free motel, like the wonderful people who have hosted us in the past, we are going out of our way to help you, be respectful.

CURRENT MISSION

Generally - Establish long lasting relationships within a short time frame all around the world

Specifically- Traveling the entire state of California in 15 days with my girlfriend Ina (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000331623)

ABOUT ME

I can be very energetic and enthusiastic, but do enjoy solitude. I like meeting new people just as much as quiet time for self reflection.
I feel like the world is wide open for me, right now more than ever, and I'd like nothing more than to explore it's openness

PHILOSOPHY

Live now, because it is the only time that exists.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My girlfriend and I just moved into a great place outside of Toronto, piece by piece it's becoming home. I've had great experiences surfing and I look forward to giving a little back!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It always seems like you're meeting a stranger that's already a friend. I love all my surfing experiences. I've always been welcomed so nicely, and it's a thrill experiencing how quickly a bond forms. I've surfed in Norway, Iceland, Canada and the US, who knows what the future will hold!

Interests

My girlfriend and I are starting our first garden. I've volunteered on miscellaneous farms throughout the years but am super excited to do it in my own back yard.
Music i'm all over the map. I've played in a handful of bands, some funky some psychedelic, one punk rock band...but i'll listen to anything groovy. I have a soft spot for Afro-cuban rhythm.
I like driving in huge spaces, bike riding through forests, snowboarding (when i can afford it) and just lounging.

Music, Movies, and Books

Top 3 of everything! :
Movies - Star Wars trilogy (only counts as one), Waking Life, The Spook Who Sat by the Door
Music - The Black Angels, My Morning Jacket, Portishead
Books - Isaac Asimov's Foundation, Robert Bolano's 2666, Pema Chodron's When things Fall Apart

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing time on the east coast. Was hosted by one of the most amazing people in PEI (Canada). At one point she took us to her friend's house party, afterwards we drove up to a beach that only people from Charlottetown could possibly know about, and swam in the ocean full of phosphorescent plankton.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to teach guitar, and know a great deal about music. I'm a pretty solid cook (got a couple great recipes i'm willing to trade), I've always wanted to pick up a new language (french is not easy to pick up in Ontario),

Countries I’ve Visited

Iceland, Norway, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
