I am a French passion for Asian culture (especially Chinese and Japanese). And I'm passionate about food. I am very knowledgeable on the best Chinese restaurants in Paris and I'm trying to discover the food of the maximum possible cultures. About European cooking, I love Italian cooking !
My main motivation to travel is food.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One of my friends have talked to me about couchsurfing when I have talked to her about my trip to China. I think couchsurfing is very interesting because I like to meet people and share new experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The worst experience :
I had to find my second host of China in Shanghai. But when I arrived in Shanghai to walk until her flat, it was very difficult for me to find the place. I have found the place after so much time, it was very late. So, she slept, I had no connection to call her with my French mobile phone and nobody in the city accepted to loan their phone to me. However, I needed a code to enter in the flat of my host, I didn't know the code... Therefore, I stayed all the night outside sleepless, to walk, until the next day on the morning when someone exited from the flat so that I enter in the flat to find, at last, my host...

The best experience :
My discussions with my host in Shanghai (the same host^^). She's very open and welcoming. :)

I watch a lot of Asian films, including Chinese and Korean (2046, The Grandmaster, Lady Vengeance, Onl God Forgives, The Banquet...).

Regarding music, I mainly listen to Chinese music in recent years (Deng Li Jun, Sun Yan Zi, Wang Fei, F.I.R...), several Japanese singers are also part of my favorite singers (Hikaru Utada is my favorite singer, I also like KOKIA, Akino Arai, Mayumi Kojima...).
But mostly I was bathed by the French song (Barbara, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Mylene Farmer, Leo Ferre...), especially the style of the 60s to the 90s. Like much less French song of the present time.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In China, I was very surprised to see a lot of people with a mask on their face (because of pollution and to protect themselves to infectious diseases, if I don't make a mistake). In the beginning, that's very strange (and funny^^) for me...
