Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Following the advice of a friend, I'm looking into couch surfing as a way of meeting new people, both locally and in my travels.

Apart from crashing at some friends' place during my travel, I've never had proper couch surfing experience, though a friend keep telling me to try.
