Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I dont like the idea of classic tourism too much. If you get to a new place, you should rather stick to the locals then merging the tourist herd. The locals know the places to go, to good places to eat and of course the good parties (and if you're lucky they throw one themselves ;)) Additionally you expand your social circle and get to know the culture better this way.
