About Me

It was one of these most pleasant days in the year. The warm may's breeze was floating over a small town in southern-western Poland, when I was born.
Around twenty years later I found myself in a grocery store, buying some avocados, when a lady standing in the line before me reminded herself, that she forgot to take cash with her, and as it was one of this small shops where they don't accept cards. She was buying only low-fat milk, so it was not that much. From what she was saying though, it seemed that she was in a big hurry. And apparently that milk carton was very important. When she ran out of the shop to get money from her car, my thoughts started a war. Finally, after a minute of my inside struggle, paying for my avocados, I looked into cashiers eyes, then onto the unfortunate milk that the lady left, and awkwardly gasped: ,,...and this milk please". Happy to make somebody's day better (like in those short YouTube videos about a poor boy that picks up an older guy's wallet and hands it over to him, and then he gets a free hot dog because a hot dog vendor has a good day etc.), I ran out of the store to find the lady and save 5 minutes of her life. But, apparently, life isn't as rad as YouTube wants us to think. The Milk Lady was gone. I tried to look for her in the nearest streets, but she just disappeared. I felt like life has cheated on me, and marched home with my unwanted milk.

Well, I have a feeling that this short story from my life could explain a lot about me, but in case it's not enough, I'll tell you a bit more.

Being an Y Generation member isn't easy.
It means that I tend to think, in life I should only be doing stuff that derive from my deepest calling. Which of course can be basically everything. But at least you can talk with me about hitchhiking, artificial intelligence, playing in a band, politics, space exploration, biomedical engineering and cognitive sciences (which are my majors), or not talk at all, if you choose.
I'd slightly prefer if you did, though. Sometimes I might not be very talkative too, but the other time you'll find me speaking with you till the early morning, or giving a speech about benefits-of-waking-up-at-the-same-time-everyday, or about some other random stuff. I am always willing to see more, feel more, to explore the outer world, inner world and learn.
Being an Y Generation member isn't easy. But it's fun.
