I'm a polish backpacker traveling around New Zealand for next three months. I've been living in Australia for last 9 months and I'm going back there in April.

Long term goal: Be always happy! (So far so good)

Short term goal: Learn how to surf (in progress), how to climb (haven't tried yet) and dive on Great Barrier Reef (DONE!) And finally learn french (probably never gonna happen).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It all started during my first semester back in 2009, when the first couchsurfer decided to stay in our flat. He had great stories to share, It was nice to show him around Wroclaw. Then few more people stayed at our place and it was fun, but I have never decided to use couchsurfing as a guest, until my short travel to Australia, where I used Couchsurfing in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Very mixed feelings, but I'm still gonna use CS.

Interests

I'm an engineer in renewable sources of energy and it's my goal to find a job someday connected to this topic. I would like to make people more aware of Earth's problems.

I like to make and edit short movie clips from my trips, from some parties, from meeting with my friends. It's a great way to bring back good times :-) and it's pure fun!

I'm a basketball fan, mostly NBA obviously, but I find local games interesting as well :-) If you want to discuss with me the NBA games and players, prepare some good arguments ^^

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - it all depends on circumstances. And drugs available ^^

Movies - all kinds, but sometimes I like to look at the technical side - how actors decided to play that scene, how it was edited, etc. That's why I love Wes Anderson :-)

Books - I love Stephen King, who can extract whole range of emotions in one book. But recently I find interesting non-fiction books as "The power of habits" by Charles Duhigg.
