ABOUT ME

I consider myself as friendly, warm-hearted, easy to handle and open-minded. In a nutshell I love to travel the world, learn about different cultures, meet people and have a great time.

I already did a lot of couchsurfing during my trip in South America, however it is not on couchsurfing as I got to know most of the people (where I couchsurfed) during a social project in Brazil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a nice opportunity to meet people from all over the world, connect with locals, learn about different cultures and share great moments with great people.

Interests

-- I really love being out in the nature (especially in the woods and nice landscapes) in combination with sports, walking through or just sitting and enjoying.
-- Basically I love doing all sorts of sport (also new and unconvencional ones), sports I practice regularly and appreciate doing are: parkour, climbing, biking
-- foreign cultures: I like exploring other cultures and all the differences
I especially appreciate the Latin American culture (since my trip there) as many people are so warm-hearted, open to foreigners, hospital and love to share the (sometimes only few) things they have.
-- discussing/talking/philosophing about life and the world but also about everything else like global/national matters (politics, interdependencies, education, people), music, sports...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: pretty much everything but to name a few: different kinds of indie/alternative, Techno, Cumbia and different kinds of Latin music

Movies: I rather prefer meaningfull/dark/funny/black humor/independet movies than the typical Hollywood-Blockbuster Action/Comedy movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-- Enjoying the crazy wonderland at Afrika Burn in South Africa

-- travelling from Capetown through Namibia and Botswana ending at Victoria Falls in Simbabwe, driving through the endless landscapes and deserts and climbing some huge dunes in Namibia, seeing lots of wildlife in various Safaris

-- Basically everything I've done during my 9-month trip through South America like enjoying the most beautiful beaches in Brazil and Colombia, climbing a 6.000 meter volcano, fighting through the Amazon rain forest, hiking through one of the deepest canyons of the world (Colca Canyon in Peru), walking and driving through the surreal landscapes of the Atacama dessert & Uyuni salt-flats and visiting tiny little towns to huge cities ....
