The benefit of staying with locals in the country that I am trying to discover is one of the biggest advantages of couchsurfing. It encourages people to share. Especially simple things like ideas, cooking skills or smiles, I would think that anyone can give something little that influences someone else.

In my opinion a cultural exchange can increase my knowledge and lets me questions my habits and opinions, which helps me to grow, stay critical and be open minded.
