About Me

I love travelling but I hate to do so as a tourist (visiting only the main places or capitals). I would rather skip all the large cities and experience the small, authentic local realities as much as possible, especially if the culture is very different from the one I come from.
I love to meet new people, I'm a little shy so I prefer to listen to other people's stories rather than to talk about myself but if I feel comfortable and you want to listen I might have a few interesting stories to share :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have already unofficially hosted a few people for friends' friends or couchsurfers who needed a place to stay and I really enjoyed that so I look forward to expand my experiences.

Interests

Music, I love both listening and playing it. I'm born drummer but I'm also learning how to play the ukulele.
I love hiking and camping in nature and I always look forward to explore new unknown places, The whole Scandinavia with its amazing landscapes has been amazing from this point of view.
I'm deeply interested in understanding and experiencing different cultures in every aspect, from religions to daily lives to languages in order to overcome the prejudice that people sometimes have about foreign cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A road trip in Iceland during summer, camping all the way, the place where the darkest it gets is a few hours of sunset every night.

Teach, Learn, Share

Of course I can share my language skills in Italian (mother tongue), English (Fluent) and a little bit of Swedish, but I wouldn't be a real Italian if I didn't have a few good dishes that I can cook, if your local supermarket can supply what is needed!

I recently found out that I really enjoy learning languages, so I will be interested in learning either the language of the country I travel to or a few curiosities about it (did you know that in Italy there is more than 120 shapes of pasta that have completely different names?)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Sweden
