ABOUT ME

I aim to have a low footprint in life and making a difference, thus aiming for a circular, sustainable lifestyle. I have lived in Bonaire for 5 years and another 5 years in Costa Rica, returned to the Netherlands in 2020. I still work for the conservation organization I founded, to protect Macaws and their wild habitat in Costa Rica. Love for adventures, nature, gardening, extreme sports, and enjoy cooking healthy, vegetarian, ketogenic meals (unless ethical, local, and sustainable meat or fish is an option). Currently traveling around with my old campervan, which I am slowly renovating.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is more than a free bed, it's a community, a gesture of giving. When living in Bonaire and later Costa Rica I hosted myself, now I am looking for hosts on my current journeys, not just for a bed but for meeting friends along the way. Look forward to meeting you!

Zainteresowania

What nurtures me, is surrounding myself with, and caring for animals, making my hands dirty, building gardens, making compost, and anything focused on self-sustainability.

I am also an adrenaline junky and love extreme sports. I am currently training for an ultra trail running race, used to race MTB (CX & enduro) which I still love to do!

And to bring farming and living an active life together, I spend lots of time cooking healthy foods, which is like my meditation.
