ABOUT ME

I was born & raised in Costa Rica, got a scholarship to study German & Chemistry in the US, loved German more than Chemistry & got scholarships to study 2 summers and one semester in Germany. Lived & worked in Los Angeles for 10 years & moved to Miami about 5 years ago to be closer to all my family in Costa Rica. So home is both Miami where I'm very lucky to have incredible friends & CR, where my heart will always be!

I've just had one incredible CS experience! Annamaria was kind enough to host me in Mafia. Felt like home & now consider her a friend!

Interests

I love languages, different cultures, people, travel, photography and exercise. I've been an avid crossfitter and enjoy adventure, change, trying new things, diving, hiking, running, skydiving, rafting, yoga, salsa dancing... I'm extremely passionate about anything I love. I'm also a Rotarian and love doing projects abroad, especially those affecting children and people with disabilities. During my recent volunteering in Kenya I started with help from great friends, many projects for the most important Maasai Manyatta in Kenya. Couldn't help myself! We started a school under a tree, a corn farm, new toilets, bought shoes, first aid kids, fumigated homes/bomas, will be sponsoring the new Maasai Moran Chief to finish his education & created a website. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cave diving in Mexico's cenotes was incredible, but so was diving in Galapagos... My recent swimming with humpback whales and whale sharks in Mafia was also pretty amazing.
