CURRENT MISSION

I am open to host one person, i have unfortunately only one spare mattress but if youre a couple its fine. I am currently opening a bar in Mombasa and travellers are most welcome and me and my Kenyan girlfriend can take you around if you would like that.

ABOUT ME

I love culture, people and language. Enjoying life in general is appealing to me. I am able to work hard and long, I go along well with people and accept people for who they are.

For me, traveling is a spiritual journey of learning. Learning to co-exist with not always likeminded individuals, though at the same time try to understand and respect them. Learning to see the world as one.

I also like to party, cook, laugh, joke, take pictures, write and hunt with bow and arrow.

Movies and TV: Factotum, motorcycle diaries, blow, Lars von Trier, documentaries, satirical comedies, Larry David, city of god, máncora, true grit, klovn, pineapple express, gli angeli de male

I listen everything from world music, especially latin music like Susana Baca, Chico Cèsar and Compay Segundo to jazz, blues, hip hop from the 90's. I am a big fan of Bob Dylan and a lot of the music from the 60's and 70's.

Other times I can listen to downtempo, chillout electronica which is also good. At parties deephouse, minimal, etc is enjoyable.

In other words, quite open minded about music.

Big reader of documentary books, I like stories from real life. I have been reading work of several war reporters like James Brabazon, Tim Hetherington and Robert King. I read about politics, history and biographies about interesting people.

When I read fiction it has been authors like Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, Franz Kafka, Salman Rushdie and Ingvar Ambjørnsen
