My name is Iris and I'm from Belgium. I'm 23 years old and graduated as criminologist and social worker. I am a social, flexible, helpful, enthusiastic and open-minded person. I love laughing, the sun, music, traveling... Everything that makes me happy :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the period from october 2013 till september 2014, I am in Australia with a working holiday visum (sponsored by Work & Travel Company in Sydney). By participating in this programme, I would like to discover the nation of Australia and its culture by travelling. I intend to work in Australia in order to have enough financial resources to achieve this goal. I would equally love to establish contacts with the local community, by working on the one hand, and by couchsurfing on the other. By doing this I hope to improve my English, to gain more experience in the fields of work and travel, and to meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Australia, it's my first time that I participate in couchsurfing. It's exciting and I am very curious!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of movies (Moulin Rouge, Babel, Remember Me, Requiem of a Dream, In the land of blood and honey, The Pianist, The Terminal...) and different types of music (pop, dance, electronic...). I also like festivals, as Tomorrowland in Belgium, that's amazing! I love reading books based on a true story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving and bungeejumping! The sky is the limit ;)

I would like to learn more about couchsurfing. It's the first time I'm doing this so it's very exciting!
