ABOUT ME

Hello, gracias!
my name is Joe Kim, born in Korea.
by 2015, i became 25 yrs old. Aging system is kinda different in every other countries so its not a big deal :-))
Just like every new year, time flies. I like to travel every single country on the earth. I hope I would meet and make multi-national friends. Adjusting myself into the globalized-world
Every time when i get to introduce myself to others, I say, I love soccer(football). I used be a representative player of my province. Also, i love to watch football. When the big match is on TV, i don't go to sleep and wait even the match time is on the dawn.
Moreover, I'm interested in fashion. It sounds like girlish but i like to go shopping and just get inspiration from streets fashion. Buying clothing makes me feel relieved and more confident.
In addition, I'm learning Spanish. The reason why i'm learning it is, I love trying and learning new things. Therefore, I'm really having fun these days.

My personality is very outgoing, considerate of others
and humorous. I can get along with new friends without
any hesitation. This kind of personality would help me
through my journey. So lets roll it!! XD

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had an abstract longing for other countries' culture. I had a experience of home-stay when i was living in Canada. At that period, my Canadian friends and I had shared many
cultural differences and perspectives of lives. During this process, we became more close to each other.
This precious experience made me to join Couchsurfing. I hope I would make this kind of connection with multi-national people too and i definitely will

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

year 2014, i traveled Europe for 9 months. I certainly enjoyed traveling Europe. I used couchsurfing while traveling. I stayed over 30 different houses in differtent countries and cities. I am still in contact with some of my friends whom i made in Europe. I really enjoyed doing it, and i will keep doing this to make foreign friends.

I can talk and share thoughts about any leagues in any country and also the players :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When i was 21, I entered the military. In my country, Korea is mandatory to serve in military for 2 years. I had an life-time opportunity to go overseas dispatch to South Sudan, Africa. During the military service period, it is really really difficult to get accepted to the overseas dispatch. Anyway, everything i felt and saw in Africa was just devastating. People were starving, drank unsanitary water. Experience in Africa made me more passionate.

Teach, Learn, Share

Something really special experiences that not many people have been through such as, tropps sent in South Sudan which is the poorest country in the world Also. The Culture. I think the world culture makes my heartbeat, hard and easy at the same time. I think cultural share and acknowledgement to others is the most precious thing in this website
