ABOUT ME

Before we start our lives as students we want to get out into the world and learn about different cultures, ways of life and especially meet new peolple.
We are open for adventures and want to distance us from our comfortable lives in Germany.

Ali: I love travelling and meeting new people. I'm an open, friendly and very easy person. I really look forward to get the chance to learn from others and get to know their way of life and make new good friends!
I do a lot of sports (fieldhockey!), so I'm open for longer trips, learning new sports or just simply get together with some people and have some fun on the beach/field!

I'm also a relaxed person, but if there's something to see or do, I'll be happy to go. Especially in countries or cities that are new to me, I want to get to know everything about it. See special things, learn about the people living there and just get a feeling for the life and culture!

My passion is biology, especially marine-biology and I hope to be able to do something in that field later on. But I also want to be open for other things, so I'm alway happy to learn about other professions.

Another passion of me is art. Since I'm little I do aquarell paintings. I don't claim to be good, but it's a way for me to shut everything else out and calm down.

Brian: I want to get to know southamerica and the culture that comes with it. Another reason for my desire to travel is to find myself and overcome my shyness.

I'm a very easy, relaxed person but often people tend to misjudge me and think I am arrogant or even angry. But in reality I'm just a really calm but open person, who wants to get to know all kinds of people in the world!
On the one hand people like to hang out with me and relax, talking about all kinds of things, but on the other hand I really like to get out and experience new things, so I'll be happy to be shown around!

I'm very musical, not only listening to all kinds of music but also playing guitar, singing (had lessons) and mix/produce electronic music.
I like to do all kinds of sports, but I've never been in any club, so be patient with me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We want to use Couchsurfing to meet many different people and maybe get a closer look at their way of living and make new good friends.
We are traveling through south-america on low-budget, so of course we would be very happy to be able to stay at a few places for a few night. But our main interest is to spend time with the people here.
As soon as we get back to Germany, we also want to invite you to spend a few nights at our place or just visit us.

We can teach you how to play guitar, our languages,some basics about biology and chemistry and how to produce/mix music. We can show you aspects of german lifestyle (cooking, culture, language etc.).
