About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life learning.

ABOUT ME

I'm a Danish 22 y/o guy. I'm half Danish and half Peruvian, though I was born and raised in Denmark. I love doing new things, especially being introduced to sports or activities.

I have practiced some parkour myself, and I find this very interesting and challenging. I'm hoping to get to try all the other "odd" sports like surfing (actually board-surfing), mountain climbing, BMX and other extreme activities like bungy jumping, parachute diving, open water diving and so on. In short: I like to move it, move it. :-)

I love spending time in new surroundings, getting lost, shooting with my camera, exploring all the small areas of the world that I have not yet "conquered".

I enjoy speaking different languages, and especially learn new ones. Until now I speak Danish, English, Spanish, a bit German and an ultra little bit of Thai.

I'm very neat and not very loud. I would say that I'm an easy couch surfer to invite into a house, because I adapt very easy and I'm very helpful and thoughtful.

PHILOSOPHY

I just have one main goal: when I'm about to exit this place, I want to be satisfied with the choices I made, the things I accomplished and the people I both gave to and received from.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I lived at my mom's a couple years back, we had several couch surfers staying for different amounts of time. It was a pleasure meeting people from foreign countries and having them right under our roof. I've had many a talk with our "surfers", sitting outside with a glass of wine talking and laughing about our cultural differences, telling stories, philosophizing, and of course also just being childish and fun. These people are some of the major inspirations for why I'm entering this community.

Interests

Photography, doing extreme sports (which I feel I haven't done slightly enough of), exercising parkour, exercising + watching most kinds of sports - especially watching live games in a stadium, listening to live music, drinking wine & beer, dancing (not any particular dance form, just, you know, fool-around-look-stupid-dancing), learning from other peoples stories and life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once jumped out of my comfort zone and did something I was terribly afraid of: I held a gigantic anaconda on my shoulders. It was the most terrifying moment in my life, but paradoxically I did it because I didn't want to. A photo is uploaded along with my other photos.

Teach, Learn, Share

DSLR Camera 101.
The reason I don't write "photography 101" is because my field of expertise is the actual camera. I know pretty much everything about the tech in a camera, and this knowledge is underestimated in todays world, where many people only set the camera to Automatic and just clicks the shutter.
I would like to learn more about Photoshop.
I would like to learn about spiritualism and meditating.
I would like to learn all kinds of sports. :-)
