Overview
About Me
Soooo, let's see.
I'm a people enthusiast. I'm currently studying Psychology, and I can't stress enough about how much I love it. I learn something new everyday about people, either from what's in my textbooks or just from what I experience, and I love that.
I have taken a lot of courses over the years, like Photography, Drawing, Acting, Filmmaking, Scriptwriting, Makeup FX... As you can see, they're mostly related to audiovisuals (call me Sherlock), because it's one of the things I love the most.

I made this video like a year ago (although I have just uploaded it so I could show you) in a trip with three of my closest friends. I didn't think about filming anything, I just started to film what I felt was right, and this is what I came up to.
It's roughly edited, I just picked the parts I liked the most and put them all together with the song that made our trip. The not-editing thing it's because it felt more sincere with the concept of the video. And that I am a fucking lazy ass person, too.
It's very poor, but it somehow reflects how I see the world. Kind of.
AND YES I DO LOVE B&W.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I strongly believe that human beings are good by nature, even though sometimes they act like anything but human beings. So basically I'm in the search of those wonderful people that prove my theory. I have been doing this since I can remember, but I feel now it's time to do it outside my hometown.
I'd love to meet people from ANYWHERE, to share all that we are, our culture, our food, our souls! (I know I'm sounding like an ascetic crazy bitch, I know, I KNOW.)

Music, Movies, and Books
These things may be my favorite things in the world, so I literally cannot list half of them, but I'll give you the big picture. But these topics deserve a proper conversation.
MUSIC: If you're really interested in this, you should check my LastFM page: http://www.last.fm/es/user/JulietteDall . (Although I must say, I've been practicing a lot with my guitar in the last few months with a particular music style so I have left out some of my music, but that doesn't mean they're not necessary for my existence.) But basically, I LOVE discovering new groups and styles, while listening to the good old jams. Let's just talk about this.
MOVIES: Pretty much the same. In the last few years I've been focusing on recent movies, but I love (re)watching Hitchcock or Kubrick just as much. Cinema Paradiso may be my favorite, for reasons I'll be glad to tell you about. The Shawshank Redemption, Mr. Nobody, Dead Poets Society... SO many. I've been pretty obsessed with Nolan, Aronofsky and Weir, too. And let's not forget about TV Series. Lost (Yeah, Lost. Damn I miss Lost :( ), True Detective, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Black Mirror, The Office...
BOOKS: Steinbeck's "East of Eden" is my favorite of all time. But I'm deeply, deeply in love with Shakespeare, Wilde, Camus, Hesse, Hume, Tolkien, Kazuo Ishiguro... And way more awesome people. I grew up surrounded by books, and I learnt so much from them, no matter if they're narrative, poetry or essays.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Exist.
And score a basket blindfolded. That was a good day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe we are in constant development, so I'm totally willing to share with you guys everything that I have learnt up to this point, and of course learn from you as much as I can. That includes stories, beliefs, theories, food making (I'm a terrible cook, someone PLEASE teach me how to SURVIVE), languages, songs, tongue-twisting techniques, or everything else that pops into your mind.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cannot host anyone right now, but I'd be pleased to be your "city guide" and show you around, and/or share a few beers. Or a lot of beers. Maybe some tequila shots, too. Let's get this party started.
